I understand that RCA supplied at least one chassis for the Radiobar Corp. I would like to identify this chassis in order to obtain the schematic. see attached photos.

Thank you,

very cool..it appears more than one chassis was used. I also found a 528AW radiobar with an RCA chassis..larger one, 10 tube. Despite some really bright and knowledgeable collectors out there, every year produces new surprises to me.

Upon closer inspection (it arrived today) the decal on the rear panel says, "Licensed by RCA." Now who really built it?

I believe the early Radiobar chassis were supplied by Gilfillan.

Yours definitely looks like a Gilfillan.

They also used Patterson radios.

Patterson radios were built in the Gilfillan factory and Gilfillan was licensed to use RCA patents. So all early radiobars with Patterson or Gilfillan chassis have a licensed by RCA tag on them.

And since Radiobar was an independent company, you could order one with any radio chassis you wanted. Or even with not radio chassis at all.

They were bought sometime in 1936 by Philco, and then used exclusively Philco Chassis.

Has anyone ever seen this dial? Photo shows RCA license and proves it's not an RCA chassis. This may be the only model Gilfillan made for the Radiobar Co.

Here's a link to another Radiobar with that dial.

The Gilfillan sets typically came in the smaller cabinets for the early years. The Patterson chassis came in the larger cabinets such as the 508.

The art deco collection page is a perfect match to the dial. The chassis shown is exactly the one I have.

Thank you,
