Nice radio, and apparently quite uncommon.

Looks like someone added on a switch just below the tuning dial and slightly off center between the two lower control knobs.

I have removed the chassis and left the box and there is no switch according to what you indicate, it is a simple beautifier

The knobs are there, an elegant cabinet design and it will have lots of punch with that 6F6 p/p output. Nice project.

Weird. Model 62 is supposed to be in a lowboy cabinet. Your cabinet is the same one used for model 58-T, but that one only has three knobs. That extra knockout hole was supposed to be used for a speed dial crank on the 58-T, but it wouldn't work on the 62 because the other knobs are too close.

Hello
I have a question whether to repair it or leave it as it is, although the former owner put current electrolytic capacitors, he did not keep the old ones, anyway getting the same dial fabric and the old electronic components is very difficult for my area Melilla (Spain), I think I will only clean it and I'll put on the shelf, I have doubts.
What do you think ?
Thank you very much

Similar grill cloth here:https://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Radio-Speaker-Grille-Cloth-L-Herringbone-18x24-True-1930s-duplication/183111073017?hash=item2aa2453cf9:g:ZBkAAOSwq7JT31ez
It's all up to you if you don't want to repair it. Just don't plug it in and turn it on.

Hello
Thanks for the link of the loudspeaker fabric, but I think it is small, I would need bigger, anyway I thought about leaving it original, not repairing it, since the problem is getting the electronic components in my area.
Thank you very much for your help and for the information sent.
regards

Hello
I am looking at the scheme of this radio to go looking for the capacitors that you need and go asking for them, because at the end I have decided to repair it, I will do it as original as possible, and I have seen things that I do not know, could inform me or what is the meaning of it?
Thank you very much
