After the Zenith 12S267, I started restoring a Brunswick cabinet for a forum member. First I must say a pretty cool radio with automatic phono circa 1930. The legs had some missing detail, the bottom of the doors had some veneer missing, the top had about half of the veneer missing and the sides need the edges glued. I made a mold to make the missing ornate pieces of the legs. Following are some pictures showing the progress to date.

I've always admired these Brunswicks. It looks like this one is in good hands.

All of the veneer chips repaired and a coat of Minwax English Chestnut stain applied.

Wish I had the know-how to restore cabinets like this. It's so amazing to see something so far gone be restored to like-new condition again.

Larry, I may need to stop by and take you to lunch next time I'm cruising through NC in hope of learning a few tricks from you.

Beautiful work!!

Anytime you are close to the Raleigh Durham area give me a shout. I'd be happy to share some pointers.

Jaw-dropping work on a really pretty old set. I've been complimented on my cleaning/detailing of original sets, but what I do doesn't hold a candle to some of the real restoration work, including this set, that I see done here on the Forum!
