I have a 9S262 and am wondering what's it's worth.

Thanks for the insight. Cabinet is decent, little veneer is loose on the bottom

The standard disclaimer is that it is worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for it.

Having said that, I would guesstimate $200 +/- $50 depending on condition.

Keep in mind that I really like them because our family has one that has been in the family since it was new. It is in Missouri now and is in need of capacitors. Everything in it is original and the case is in excellent condition.

Now there are people who have sold them for absolutely outrageous prices of $750 and $1395, but heaven only knows why someone would pay that price. Obviously they were "worth " that to someone (see disclaimer at the top).

Sold, read description, yours is condition sensitive to value.

Yes, Willee is good at getting top dollar.

Mostly because his shipping charges are reasonable, he packs things correctly and takes good care of his customers.

The 9-S-262 is one of the most common "Shutterdial" models. That said it also is very iconic and looks good.
Zenith did well at putting it at a price point of $99.95

Curtis may be a little low on his estimation, but then again, its hard to say as condition is everything.

+1

Personally, I would never use any of the prices that Willee gets on eBay as a benchmark for a radio's value/worth.

As Steve said, the 9-S-262 is probably THE most common shutterdial console out there. If it's intact, with a nice original finish, has all the knobs, and a correct grille cloth, I'd say between $250 and $400 depending on where you are located (as always, the East Coast prices tend to be less than the West).

Good condition Chassis and knobs easily bring 400$ on the bay. It's kind of sad when the parts are worth more than the complete radio
