It looks like they've put that sticky back plastic on the sides, too.

I have a German radio that somebody's done that to - it's a plastic case, so I'm not looking forward to removing it...

Boy, that 1932 manufacturer was way ahead of his time, with FM before Armstrong had developed it fully and a psychedelic color scheme before mushrooms were invented.

Of course, many people have no idea what "AM" or "FM" means and refer to all radios as AMFM.
