Ironically, I was just about to post the link to that specific Crosley listing and ask: "What am I missing, here?"

He’s only asking $11.00 and offering free shipping. Since he had no actual radio to sell, I take it his scam is to copy as many auctions as he can and make as much as he can before eBay shuts him down? Maybe he’s just a time waster who enjoys messing with people.

More likely a hijacked account.

+1 Hijacked account. The account has been registered since 2003 and has 23 positive feedback posts, all of which are over a year old, and probably over 10 years old if I guess correctly. Looks like someone found a dormant account and brute-force bot-hacked the password.

I've noticed that several times recently, with one being a Philco 20 cathedral for $22 with free shipping. It sold quickly and was relisted right away and sold again. The scammers can get really creative preying on our need to score the deal....

I imagine they don't much care what happens to the buyer one way or the other as long as the payment shows up in their PayPal account, where they no doubt quickly skim it off into either cash or other online purchases before aBay/PP catch on and shut them down.

Hey oldradio99

Thanks for the information. You can report on eBay. It isn't that difficult.

Cheers!!
