I love it! I just don't need a second console at this time but more importantly, another Forum member has "claimed" it.

Unless you are getting it for the cabinet, you may be disappointed. The Stromberg Carlson radio in that cabinet is just one that happened to be convenient. Note that the tuning meter is not visible and that front panel decorations on the original Stromberg Carlson face board disappear behind the ornate cabinet offering.

Torpedoes you... here? never..

The members that never post but follow these topics are ruthless.
I posted a radio from craigslist that I was going to get a few years ago. The seller who was very honest told me that someone else messaged him that I was a reseller and I would rip the radio apart and sell the parts. The person also asked the seller to keep it between them. I am very disappointed in this person as I thought they were ok until then.

Next time message the person who posted the topic instead of replying. I saw your post and tried to delete the topic but could not since you commented.. Sorry that I blew you up..

Kirk

It wasn't directed at any one person. I had spoken to the seller and arranged to buy it before seeing this post. Not startin trouble, just sayin...

What's the model of the chassis? I saw an original near mint one in a mall the other day. Seriously thought about it but at $275 firm, was too much for me.
