In that condition, I would say yes, but ultimately, it is worth what you are willing to pay for it.

thanks, I'll be getting it Sat. I'm not much into old wood radios, but I do like this one, and it has a nice look to its finish.

I picked this up today. nice. It was his parents radio they bought in Chicago after WWII, in their basement apartment.
Has been covered for 40-50 yrs with a nice, what looks to be an old vinyl toaster cover. needs a power cord, this one is cracked bare.
I don't think I'll do much with it, in another 20-30 years in this condition, it will be quite the piece, 100 yrs old and still almost
perfect original.. the not so perfect, the knobs are so "sharp" or clean, few marks on cabinets, I'm sure will clean up better

looked inside, and clipped the cord. I'll save the plug if people need those for restorations.
