Did someone just have it chromed a few years back? It looks like #&^%. Maybe during the chrome an Arvin craze.

The interior components are original, but I doubt the chroming job is, and that crack on the side...He'll have it until Judgement Day for 10 grand, or even a tenth of that. To me, it's a parts set.

Each time I've seen reports of a chrome TR-1, it's always this same exact one pictured. I myself don't believe these to be factory made.

From Steve Reyer's website: "Occasionally other unusual case types appear -- for example one that is chrome plated. Whether this was produced at the factory or by an owner is uncertain, but it is believed that more than one does exist." http://www.mequonsteve.com/regency/
