I am trying to find a link to an old Ebay sold listing for a Zenith Stratosphere that sold for about $70,000 back around 2007.

Does anyone have it somewhere in their history?

Thanks

This may be the auction that your looking for. This is the sale that pretty much established the basis for Stratosphere values today.

In my opinion, this is still the nicest, all original, Zenith Stratosphere that there is.

Bob was the collector that bought this strat from the Coca-Cola Ex estate. He later sold it to the person who eventually sold it on Ebay.

Michael, there was another 1000Z on ebay in early 2007. Did you happen to save the page and images from it as well?

The only other Strat that I have for 2007 is a 16-A-63 but I do have a 1000Z from 2008.

Hmm, well this one did not sell through ebay, but was listed for a while early 2007. Maybe Feburary through April timeframe. I may have the photos saved on an old computer, but I'm not certain.

Thanks

Craig Korpak who had his Strat up in Lansing the previous summer entered into the contest. Yes it won the Peoples Choice award. Then a few months later Craig put it up on Ebay.

I have the same picture as Mike and probably also all the pictures from that auction. The date on my pictures is Nov 11 2006 unless somehow the date was wrong in my computer when I captured the pictures.

Art I do have all the pictures from the auction but not a link to the auction. I doubt you can find it unless that Pinterest outfit has it?

The May 9th 2008 was auctioned from Glenn Elyn ILL and a now deceased from of mine Barry purchased the radio. It was the one that had a bunch of holes in the amplifier chassis. Someone had ventilated it apparently for heat to escape? And yes I have the pictures from that auction as well.
