I am looking for a good original speaker ( or a substitute that fits and works) for a GE tv model 806. Same as 805. I have two of these sets with 3 speakers ( yes, one had two ) and none are original and are poor repair attempts from long ago. Going to Bear, Delaware. Thanks.

I would post pictures if it wasn't so difficult but anyway the ones I have are not original. It should be a 4 inch speaker though.

Any picture is better than none. The frame of the speaker may be unique to the TV and chassis/cabinet in shape, depth fame mounting.

If it is so unique, it may still use a "standard" (old school, no foam) cone/spider/voice coil assembly. If so, the old frame can be fitted with a cone assembly salvaged from a pedestrian 4" speaker.

I have an 805 parts chassis. Does your speaker have a fairly large output transformer attached to the U shaped magnet on the back of the speaker?
My speaker looks pretty good other than the permanent magnet in back is a little off center.
If interested, send me a PM.
