Have a 1958 Guild Model 6610 "Old Timer's" radio. This is a 6-tube Novelty Set from the series Guild is known for. In my experience, the "Old Timer" is a seldom seen Guild model. This is one of their AM/FM radios.

The cabinet in in good shape, in need of some cleaning and polishing, but has original finish. The radio apparently had some sort of a back with a safety interlock (fancy word for a cheater cord like used on televisions) and the back is missing. I put two alligator clips on the radio's power socket and it came on with a loud hum telling me it needed electrolytics, and it has a nice lighted dial. The radio originally had a pair of faux weights hanging beneath the cabinet to simulate a wind up clock. It has an electric clock which may have had a second hand - this one doesn't.

Despite these minor shortcomings this is a nice radio, and has been a shelf queen in my collection, so sold as is.

I am asking $80 for this radio and can deliver to Charlotte, NC meet in March, Kutztown, PA in May or possibly another major meet later on. Despite its size and weight we could also ship this.

Thanks for looking.
