This is for a replacement in my Jackson Bell, it is the volume control and power switch. I may post a pic of the original later on.

Wirewound controls CAN HAVE A TAPER ! Percentage of the total ones made over time is low but the earlier sets DID sometimes have tapered WW controls. Looking at my IRC manual under Jackson Bell I see actually most of their radios DID use a tapered control. The only ones I see using 2K are linear, though.
The tough part with WW controls is most can not be fitted with power switches. I do have some here that can be, so an email to me will probably find what you want. My manual says that doesnt need to be a WW control. *****
