Hi all,
I'm looking for a schematic and/or alignment data for my Heathkit AJ-32 AM/FM tuner. It is a very nice tuner but AM doesn't work. I'd like to figure it out.
Thanks,
Tube radio repairman

Hello,
I've just come across this post which was posted a few years back. I hope you have already fixed the AM section. I have just completed mine in the AM section by using a signal tracer.
I had to buy the schematic from Heathkit Data Professional Inc. in Calf. because there is absolutely nothing that I can find in the net.
Now I have bigger problem to deal with, that is the FM section. I have checked all resistor and replaced whichever is 15% off spec., but still cannot get it going. Although both EM84 magic eyes are getting the B+ from the same source, the one for AM works and the FM one doesn't.
I swapped them and proved that whichever goes into the AM socket works, but not the FM.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ken
