Hello all, I have a Pfanstiehl Overtone 20 I am restoring and came upon a part that resembles a capacitor but I am unsure of what it is exactly or it's purpose. I tried to upload a picture of it but to no avail. However, there are two fork connectors that go to a rectangular object. The object itself is two pieces of some insulating material and a metal piece between the two. Anyone who could shed some light on this would be much appreciated.

Hi and welcome.

Not seeing the part, it might be a neutralizing cap? Does the metal part slide?

I've tried multiple times to upload pictures, even one at a time in a reply, but nothing seems to work. I could PM them to someone if need be.

Don't know much about the part, but I was hoping one of you guys had a schematic for this overtone 20??? that or a list of tubes and their locations would be much appreciated!!! I am looking at getting mine working again and have hit dead end after dead end!! That and trying to find someone to rewire it would be helpful! Located in Wisconsin!
