In my Heathkit FM-3 FM tuner, someone substituted a type 6922 tube for the specified 6BQ7A tube. Is this a good sub?

I don't see 6922 listed in substitution charts, but it's a European tube, made in the Netherlands.

This tuner uses the 6BQ7A as an RF amplifier. Here's the FM-3A schematic for anyone who's curious:

6922 is 6DJ8 or E88CC. Both 6BQ7 and 6DJ8 have the same basing and similar voltage gains. 6DJ8 has much higher transconductance (current gain). Either tube will work as an RF amplifier in your tuner.

OK, I'll leave it alone for now. The unrestored tuner worked rather well during a brief trial, but I'll replace the old electrolytic and paper caps.
