Has anyone ever offered anything like this ? I for one would really like to have a t-shirt or ballcap to wear when I attend swap meets or other radio related events. If others attending also had these items it would allow for instant recognition of fellow ARFers and stimulate conversations and of course add to the fellowship we already enjoy by belonging to this wonderful forum.
Additionally, any proceeds from the sale of these items could be used for whatever pupose the forum deemed worthy such as educational tools, enhancements to the website etc.

Just a thought, anybody agree ?

Thanks,
Frank

I'm a mod on a local board for firearms enthusiasts and we do shirts, caps and the like though cafepress.

For some unknown reason, I can't find many takers.

Aside from my "Real Radios Use Tubes" t-shirt, I would LOVE an ARF shirt. Maybe we should have a design contest and have them for sale on Cafe Press. That would be great. I wonder if we could ever agree on what radio would be the logo on the shirt.....Maybe just a cheesy clip art photo to prevent a war.

I like your shirt Rocketeer.

:D

What we aught to do is have a contest or something for what goes on there.

Somebody on here was creating the custom images so you could take it to a t-shirt shop and get your own made. Maybe someone can remember who that was. The search function won't find threads posted prior to the "upgrade" so I can't come up with it.

I'm sure someone remembers. Hopefully the artist will chime in. I like those shirts you posted, thanks Mr. Voorhees. I wish I had the equipment to design one on my computer. I've got photoshop but I'm not sure exactly how I'd go about it. I'd like something simple and classic. I'm sort of envisioning a classic style radio made up of all the radio brand names (or even their logos?) on the front and then "www.antiqueradios.com" in black font on the back.
I'm off from school, I'll see maybe I can come up with something creative tomorrow.

Thanks guys.

I made mine at Zazzle.com:

I printed it on a grey shirt and while it looks OK, the colors aren't as bright as a real screen-print.

I think someone posted the ARF logo in the classifieds a couple of years back, but I can't find the original artwork now.

John. I like it. Are you coming to Marrietta? If so please wear it.
Looks like there is some interest in doing this but deciding on what would be on the front would be difficult. Alan's generic idea would work though.
Thanks,
Frank
