Went record hunting today. Bagged the new Carolina Chocolate Drops LP, a Kepi Ghoulie LP, and a binder full of 78s, including Mack the Knife and a couple of other Louis Armstrong records, a couple of Lu Watters, a couple of Sidney Bechet, a Kid Ory record, and Boyd Bennett's "Seventeen."

The heartbreaking part: as I was listening to them at home, the cat knocked the binder off the table, smashing one of the Lu Watters records and Louis Armstrong's 2-side-long rendition of the Basin Street Blues, and putting hairline fractures in one or two of the others. Going to have to be more careful about where I set things

Last find of March....almost didn't get it...one guy told me $30...which I thought was a bit much for a smelly case of odd tools...and then another guy came in and I thought he was going to rip it out of my hands because the other guy sold it to me for 30$...no idea what they thought it was worth...

Another last find of March... some goodies from a sound contractor who was cleaning out his shop. A Tektronix 454 scope, a BSS Audio DPR-402 compressor/limiter, a couple of old Motorola walkie-talkies, and lots of other stuff that I haven't unpacked yet.

Jason:

Don't know how you do it on your speaker finds. I have been looking for AR3's for a while. If you ever come across a Heathkit AS-2 (AR2) speaker, I am looking for one...or two.
