I live in an area with a Goodwill store, that is already downtrodden, therefore, choice bits apparently do not appear like that. Perhaps a good or listenable CD once in awhile, but they are usually a little scratched from careless handling. I entertained plopping down $7.50 for a nice Sony cassette deck the other day, not having one anymore, but then I just walked away. What I am looking there for is a decent modifiable CD player. I got a $10 Sony as-is there, and it has digital pickup problems or something. Guess I can salvage the transformer.
