Who wins Sunday Pats or the Eagles?
I have it on good authority that it will be the team that scores the most points. :D

Otherwise you can also put me in the "Don't Care" column.

The NFL is a mess, I don't watch it anymore because of the taking the knee, drugs and family violence. The ref's treat Brady like he's a God, always throw the flag late in the game to give the Pats an edge for a comeback. Easiest one to keep them moving down the field is the picky, picky pass interference calls or roughing the passer or illegal hit. Since Brady only passes most of the time it's easy for the ref's to control the 4th. quarter. As the ref. said it good for business with a Pat. win. How would you like to have a SuperBowl with Cinn., Buffalo, Houston, Tenn. Cleveland, LA Rams, not so good without either Dallas, Giants or the Patriots invoved. All about money. $$$$$$, JMO

My high school (Catholic) cheerleaders were all boys, they could walk home.

Agreed. How great does football look when the "Patriots" win (year after year)?

It IS all about the money - fueled by public perception (reception).

I won't be watching to see anybody win. I'll be watching to see the Patriots lose - which itself is a losing bet.

********************I don't care either. Until they decide to vote me a winning share (this year it's $112,000---for ONE 60 minute game---I'll yawn too. Oh, they have to practice of course, of course, sign autographs, pose for pics, have interviews, ad nauseum off course. Other games are worth more per to those spoiled athletes. And baseball is no better. I used to be a fairly big sports fan....the money has ruined it, pro sports, big time colleges, and others. Yeah, the Olympics might rise to the top for me but that's about money anymore too.

Cleveland, HELL YA. Sadly it'll never happen in my lifetime. Anyway I hope the Pats get their butts kicked but I always watch the game just for the commercials.

Well I will be happy to see the Pats win hopefully.I understand they have been there a lot and many people are haters. But their teams only have to practice harder coach better and play better and they can win.
Hey I grew up hating ( and still do )the Yankees in baseball cause the Sox never won.

I'm also in the group that doesn't care. I've stopped watching the news because all I see is crap about the "Stupidbowel". It's actually frustrating as this sports stuff takes precedence over real news here in the Twin Cities. It's going to be cold Sunday, but not nearly cold enough. I'd like it to be -20 or so and then warm up after they go away. I've been staying home for the past week or more just to avoid the extra traffic. Retirement sure has it's advantages!

over the past few years, there was one or two sundays when I was down with an illness of some sort and in order to escape boredom while feeling lousy, i watched some NFL football.

the only time I really watch tv is when I'm sick and can't get out of bed or out of my easy chair, which is a rare occurrence.

I *could* have an interest in NFL football when the weather gets nasty in December and January, but I don't and I won't develop one.

here is why:

the amount of commercials and the amount of TV time it takes to play 60 minutes of football is an absolute ridiculous JOKE.

for that reason, I refuse to watch NFL football and that reason is the same for which I hardly watch any tv.

if I am really that interested in a football game and that's a long shot, I can "see the game" in a 45 second highlight reel.

i'll watch the superbowl on the 11 o'clock news sunday night  .

steve

I was invited to a super bowl party. I went a couple years ago. Lots of great company, and a fantastic spread of food. There was also a football game on TV, but the food was great!
