Check out the link. The Muzen Audio company produces this handmade, wood OTR styled mini-radio and Bluetooth speaker, and they're becoming a new forum sponsor and are providing five of their radio/Bluetooth speakers to be given away to forum member. You could win one of them.

The radios features FM, Bluetooth, and three different aux inputs. It's a pretty tiny item, but has had great reviews and has remarkably good sound from something so small. It's designer, Dejuan Zheng, is a five time winner of CES innovation awards. This small radio measures just 3.7" x 2.81" x 2.21".

How do you win one? That's something I'm still figuring out. If you have ideas how to go about this, I'd love to hear them. Also, any impressions you have of the product would be nice to hear.

Ingenious way of shaping a curved case. It appears to be made of several slices of wood cut in the same guide and laminated together. It could easily be done with router guides, but they probably have it computerized.

Just start a post with the heading " Free Radio Contest" everybody that leaves a post such as "I'am in" will be in the drawing, run it for two weeks and randomly pick the winners.

I have seen multiple youtube channels use Gleam for giveaways:
https://gleam.io/app/competitions

I don't know though if that costs a lot of money.

Maybe just create a thread and post a link to a page on this domain with a simple button one clicks to enter into the contest, along with your username.

Just throwing some ideas out there,
Noah

IDEA: Put all names who have donated to the forum as a result of this February 6th 'server-move' thread - viewtopic.php?f=2&t=335492 - into a hat (barrel?) and draw 5 names on March 6th. It would not be necessary to post in the thread. To be fair (and legal), you would not have to send money...just send your member name and have at least one post in a forum discussion.

That's a pretty cool little radio/bluetooth, and who can't like something that supports Radio Caroline!

I like Dave's idea for the drawing.

Not sure what to say about it. It looks REAALLLY small. So I wonder- exactly how does this sound seeing as how the speaker is likewise- tiny. Ironically for our museum I'm taking actual vintage radios and putting bluetooth devices in them and we charge less money than what these cost. The description mentions something about the wood making it sound in a certain way. I doubt it adds much because again- not a lot of volume going on in there.

That said, thanks to this new sponsor for supporting this forum!

+1
This seems to be a common method for entering drawings for sponsor prizes on some other forums I visit.

Shouldn't it be an essay contest? "I like Spaceways brand radios because...." and in 250 words or less describe why.
