WARCI will return to Milwaukee on Sunday, July 8th for its summer swap meet.

General Meet Information
There is no charge for admission! This will be an outdoor meet, weather permitting. If there is rain we will move indoors. Doors open at 8:00 AM for vendor setup. The flea market starts at 8:00 AM, announcements are held at 10:30 AM followed by the donation auction and free pizza (while it lasts). Each meet will vary slightly, so check out the monthly flyer for more information!

As typical of most swap meets, the items are for sale by individual collectors, and most are one-of-a-kind. So for best selection (and the best deals), BE EARLY! But please stay around and get to meet some of the club members. These swap meets are a great way to connect with other local collectors that share your interests. By socializing at the meets you can find others that may have what you are looking for, radios & parts, people that can service your radios, and you can make some good friends.

Swap meet spaces are $7 for WARCI members, and $10 for non-members. Tables will be provided for indoor use only and are first-come, first-serve. No advance registration is required.

Address:
The Terminal, 5917 S Howell Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207

Please rethink the swapfest schedule for next year. I think combining with the Hamfest in Cedarburg earlier and scheduling this latest one the next day after the large hamfest in Oak Creek were mistakes.

Please talk with me & Nick at the July 8th meet. We are considering changes with respect to next year's calendar, and would appreciate hearing more about this.

Thanks.

I plan on selling and bringing a bunch of Zeniths. Hope the weather breaks.

Looks like the weather will be great for the meet. Current hourly forecast shows sunny all day with 8AM temperature of 69 degrees, up to 77 at 10AM!

Its a shame we lose the nice cool breeze from the north we have today. That would have made it even better. Providing I still have the ambition after selling at Saturday's Oak Creek hamfest I'll be there with a bunch of tabletop radios for sale on Sunday. If I'm too tired I'll still be stopping down there with my wallet.

Hello Everyone!

Because of the perfect forecast (sunny, light breeze, 70~79 degrees, dropping humidity throughout the morning) this will be an outdoor meet held in the parking lot of the Landmark 1850 Inn (the building in front of the Terminal). I'm looking forward to a nice morning! I hope to see you all there!

Too much demand, running out of seller spaces unfortunately

We have the full back lot for overflow, and we did have several sellers set up there. Plenty of space for expansion, never a sellout for our outdoor Milwaukee meets.

Great weather, record attendance, record number of sellers, and record income from our donation auction.

One of our club members printed out 100 flyers for the meet, and had them on his table at the Oak Creek hamfest the day before. All 100 flyers were taken! I know this didn't mean that all 100 showed up to our event, but I'm sure many of them did.

Thanks to all who participated and made this meet a great success!
