I've got a Bill Haley CD with 10 or 12 songs on it. My daughter says "They all sound the same." It was dance music, and lyrics didn't matter.
Big Joe Turner was rocking in the blues clubs, but never made it big like that. Shake, rattle and roll.

Well now that sparked a memory;
Long time ago, we were watching "American Graffiti" on our VCR, and I was ID'ing the make and year of the cars as they appeared, with the wife chiming in as well.
Our daughter, about 12 at the time, asked, "how can you guys tell them apart? They all look alike"... :wink:

I can see how it would seem that way to someone who's not been exposed to this kind of music a lot. That's what a used to think too back when I was a lot younger.
