From Grace of My Heart (1996) loosely based on the Carole King story.

Great weeper along the same lines as I Fall to Pieces Imagine That and Crazy

If only Patsy had stayed out of that little airplane...

Thank you. How nice.Love the late great Patsy Cline and her classic tunes. Jill sounds great there.Beautiful voice .Also enjoyed Carole King's music too.Jill is around my age. Thats the way I want to hear country music. Not todays so called country music. Not my cup of tea.

Agree.Same goes for other musicians and actors..

I love that song and many others from Patsy. Also Loretta Lynn did great covers of Patsy's tunes on her tribute album in the 1970's.
If Patsy was still with us.She would be in her mid 80's which would be the same age of my late parents.

RIP Patsy.

Loretta Lynn .She's my all time favorite country artist.

Loretta's Patsy medley.I say this video was recorded in 1978 since her Patsy tribute album was released in 1977.I have her tribute album here in my collection since I bought it new in 1977.

I was talking about songs Patsy would have been great on had she been able to live to record them - like the most obvious example: Blue (1994 demo version) by Leann Rhimes which if you can find it is better than the hit version from two years later.

Other weeper GMH tunes
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hEOIGQlRK8 Joni Michell composer demo (same tracks as) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9evObxebxmg Kirsten Vigard (the original Annie)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvFrF6xKBY0 Chaka Khan turns it into the blues.

Not today's so called country music.
Um - that IS modern country?
Written and recorded in 1996 same as Leann's Blue (well recorded anyway).

Patsy Clyne was an important part of my getting into serious songs, However Brenda Lee was one of the few, that refused to sing songs that she felt had no connection to the common folk. They were expressions of true life and heart felt songs that would bring out the listeners emotions. When my Wife died I made a video of Her life and Brenda Lee songs brought out Sweet Memories of our life by playing those songs along with slides in the video.
-------

I'M Sorry,
Fly Me to the Moon,
Emotions,
If You Love Me,
I Wonder,
You've got me crying again,
the crying game,
bring me sunshine,
is it true,
call me,
fools rush in,
you don't have to say you love me,
The end of the world,
fool number one,
always on my mind,
break it to me gently,
I want to be wanted.
