Please look at the earphone plug. I have a very good Ruby which I use a lot, but can't find a plug that fits the jack. Jack is 2 tiny holes about 3/16 inches apart.

Anybody know a source for the jack? I'm only using solder tipped wires.

You might try hanging around the various computer connectors and pins at Fry's. I found similar plugs there for a little crystal set I had found among some dollhouse furnishings. It used them for the earphone and antenna/ground connections. They are not quite "right", but highly functional.

Hello I use earphone batteries size 675.
These 'air cells' lose power in a abt 3 weeks even if not used.
I suppose size also available in other chemistry types.
I use the Wumpus method minus the cardboard tube.
Just a screw and two nuts for a spacer in battery column.
Without the tube the batteries stay tight anyway because I
carefully filed down the screw to exact correct length.

Would love to get an earphone plug, thanks!

thanks for info on the air cell battery. If it last only a few weeks, it wouldn't work for me. I don't play the radios that often.

anyways, I found a phone jack for a Micronic Ruby. Sent you a PM.

After reading your posts again, I am not sure whether you are looking for the jack or the headphone plug.
You mentioned plug in your last post.
