Just trying to figure out the odds of me finding the back piece of the one I have?
I am hoping to find one some day to complete my TR1 radio

There were just over 100,000 TR-1 radios made in total. Grey, ivory, red and black were the
most common (and still most commonly found)
The jade green and mahogany cabinets were introduced later in the production. Even rarer
are the pearlescent blue and pink cabinets.
I doubt if any one knows exact numbers but they are not big.
It won't be impossible to find what you need but it might take some patience.
In the past year I believe I've seen two or three jade green TR-1's on Ebay.
It's amazing to see how many TR-1's show up every month on Ebay. My guess is that they
are not as "rare" as once thought. People must have held onto them as a keepsake with the
knowledge of their historic value.

In over 10 years of watching both the Transistor radio, and vintage receivers sections on The Bay, I don't recall ever seeing just the back half of a TR-1 cabinet offered, in any color. I have seen at least two black empty cabinets offered, both having gone for over $100 each.

PM me if you would like to trade yours for a compleat working TR-1 (with all original parts) in another color. I have a Jade TR-1, but the front half has a large replaced section on the side, so yours would be welcome.

I'd say zero, best sell the TR-1 for parts. JMO
