Dear Fellow Members-After UNDOING a previous "restoration", I noticed that the Riders publication calls for a 6S6 bulb. Here's the Nostalgia Air link:

http://www.nostalgiaair.org/PagesByMode ... 024111.pdf

The previous "restorer" had inserted what looks like a blue outdoor Xmas light bulb. I was told that this is a 7C7 bulb. It barely fits and I understand is 1 Watt over what is required. What I'm wondering is if this radio takes a clear or a blue 6S6 bulb. Did Westinghouse use colored bulbs in their radios? FWIW, I do have colored and clear 6S6 bulbs. Thanx to Curt Reed, I now realize that I can also use a 4W night light bulb. Trying to get this restoration as correct as possible-this was the last thing on the previous restorer's mind-Gearhead

Hi...I repaired a couple of these, and both used clear bulbs.
