This radio has a circular window in the dial scale that lights up when the ferrite antenna rotator switch is turned clockwise. It is a small 6volt bulb that is about 1" long and 1/4" inch across. With the use of a strong magnifying glass it looks like ZNO 6v 1A. Anyone know where to find a replacement?

The bulb looks like a 1/4 scale #46. Same proportions but lots smaller. I'm no munitions expert but a bit larger than a 22 cal shell. I'd take a picture but it is too difficult (for me anyway) to get a photo uploaded onto this, otherwise fantastic, site.

The rating is probably 6 volts .1 amp, or 100mA

I have a Grundig 3033, it uses a 6v 100ma bulb with a BA7S bulb. I guess your radio uses the same. That's a common type of bulb in europe but I think that they are rare in usa.

Thanks everyone. The suggestions appear to be correct. I'm going to obtain one ($5.42) plus shipping and will report back with the outcome.

You can go here, http://www.imageshack.us/

Click 'browse' and select photo from your computer. "Upload Now" and get code for "forum". Copy and paste this code in your post and photo should appear.

You don't even have to open an account with them.

Thank you so much for the photo tip. I'll try this on Sunday with a bulb shot.
