Just aquired an old midwest model 98 table radio in a trade.
Interesting radio.
Has 5 bands and a really nice looking cabinet.
I know these were cheap radios back in 49 when this one was born, but they had a unique look to them.
I need a speaker for this one if anyone knows where I can get one?
Radio works, but I will go through it and re-cap etc.
Anyone ever work on one of these?
Wish I knew how to put pics on here.

Here's mine---I have yet to do anything to it, but I think it's neat. Compared to some of my "treasures", the MW seems very well made.

To post pictures: When you are composing a message, simply scroll down to the section that says "upload attachment". Once your file is uploaded, then there will be a command at the bottom of the editing window, where you can select a picture and insert it inline.

There is a file size limit---make the picture no more that 800 pixels on the longest side and save as a jpg and you'll be fine

Thats the same as mine.
It was re-capped and works fine, but the speaker is shot.
Thanks for the info on loading pics.
Will try it.
