Anyone have luck removing old dymo label maker tapes off of Bakelite? If so how?

Either Goo Gone or Goof Off will work fine but it may take a little elbow grease too.

Missing from that list is Bestine aka Rubber Cement Thinner. Available at art supply stores. It will completely dissolve the adhesive and not damage the set. Also works on other types of plastics, paint and clear finishes, even paper. For paper, just wet the area and wait a few seconds and it will release. A bit more on a paper towel will wipe up and residue.
