Hi I am trying to find a piece of veneer to patch a missing piece on the top of a 12s-265. It looks like quartersawn but I could not seem to find quartersawn walnut. Maybe its oak? Thanks Sam

I took a close look at my '265, and that band is definitely walnut on my set. Probably rift or quarter sawn.
This company sells thicker veneers that are better match for the thicker veneers used on old radios. They have 1/16" quartered walnut.

The last listing under walnut, they have 11 sf you can get for $1.00 per sf.
