I've seen this 'olive' color scheme before. The heavy almost black shading. It looks pretty awful to modern eyes but that is not to say you should change it. Was just shading an Oriole Model 100 cabinet circa 1927 this afternoon. Getting it even close to right is HARD ! for me.

Guess my General is rather rare, but other than “burnt yellow”, any ideas ? I’m thinking a “daffodil” Mohawk spray followed by light grey highlights.

I think the olive color scheme was the only one. The greens of the day are very prone to radical change in a lot of environments. There is a vintage advert for this set but I cannot tell you specifically where it is... I think that americanradiohistory.com now has Radio Retailing from 1931 searchable on-line. Might be worth a look.
