I like your top two pictures so I choose one of them. I see that you did too and it looks very good. Something simple with a small pattern, not too large and overpowering.

What looks so nice about the original cloth is that its color is well matched to the color of the wood. I think that if you were to dye your preferred sample to be closer to original color, it would be a better match.
