hello friends,

my new old toy is a Rohde+Schwarz Polyskop 3 TYPE Swob

The sweeper is full loadet (10x oscillator plugin) so it goes 100kHz up to 1GHz.
The Screen is like a TV Tube, but P7 phosphor.
There is no tubes inside, a cold machine, but still a boatanchor of 42kg.

I got him including his adapters..

I have a SWOB 1. All tube. It's pretty useful for sweeping an IF and it also has a built in directional coupler. Those special connectors are a real problem though.

I have a fair amount of R/S gear. Yes it's "cold" but it sure does the job with ease. Thats a nice looking scope (sweeper) Mr. MM.

Congratulations for getting such a nice unit!

Some years ago I got also a SWOB III along a collection of RF probes, manuals and such. But I have not yet powered it up!!! (I have always too many projects going  )

BTW, my unit has different plug-ins than yours... I will check on return home.

Someday I will power it up :D !!!

Regards,

JOSE
