I am looking for the manual for my tester but I'm coming up short, does anyone have a scan of said manual?

I have inherited a Weston 785 and do not know what to do with it. I just cleaned my garage and find that I do not need it and cannot use it. Any tips?

Put it in the classified ad here on the forum. Be sure and read the rules first. Start your ad title with FS.

Good Luck

I've got one of those critters too. It's going into the museum. it's way down on the list of things to be restored though, but sure looks nice :)

Every one I've gotten had the needle bent. It is extremely thin.

These are very susceptible to battery damage. Corrosion can follow a wire into the first resistance coil/divider, giving inconsistent readings.

The row of large carbon resistors is usually way out of tolerance.

There are several different versions. There will be variations between schematics.

The battery can be very expensive, but up to a few years ago I was able to buy them.
