I've just acquired a Bach-Simpson 955 that resembles closely a Simpson 260 v2. Judging by the tank-like case I suspect it was used for railroad and or military use but can find no information about it.
I've found useful tips (pun intended) for making test leads on this forum, as well as series connect 9v batteries to power it (30v). Upon opening it up I found a clipped wire near the mA jack, which has been removed. Before I install a new jack and re-solder this wire, I'd like to make double sure it belongs there. If anyone has information or schematics for this I'd greatly appreciate it. This unit is made in Canada.
