Bought a Zenith record player cabinet and cannot find another like it to tell what model it is. I have the SN and a different number.
The turntable part seems to not catch when it is on, resulting in a stutter or skipping look. The head also appears to be missing a piece, along with the needle.
If I can identify the model, I may be able to get the parts I need. Any and all help is appreciated

Your description is like posting---'I bought a car and it has problems. Any suggestions on how to fix it?'---Please give us pictures/make/model to at the least ID the unit... :?

"and a different number"

Well reveal it. Often time "different" numbers are what solves the issue of model or chassis number.

Edit: The changer's model number will be underneath as shown here...

does it (the record changer) look familiar... :)

oh... When disconnecting interconnecting cables, label them with masking tape flags or directly with a sharpie.
Example: tuner chassis terminal-A to amp chassis terminal-A
B to B etc.

otherwise you'll get lost when it comes to reassembly... :)

A digital camera makes a great aide-mémoire.

My apologies, the pictures I had selected will not upload. The numbers I found were the SN: 9385286 and the "different number" which is F415543.
The setup and hardware actually looks identical to the user's that was able to post the pictures

The record changer looks like a 1970s VM model.

I think that's exactly it or it looks identical at least. I figured out the issue with it spinning incorrectly, just needed some adjustment. The only concern now is that I'm not sure if the head has the clip that holds the needle and also getting a needle that works for it

Which one of these numbers in the left/hand column is on the back panel of your console?
