Hey,
I got a Trav-ler Am tube radio Model 5028 a.
When I turn it on and let it warm up it makes a humming sound that cant be controlled by the volume. When I rotate the tuner it doesnt change the sound at all. Im not getting any stations. I can see the tuner rotate inside.
I replaced the caps and they made the humm a little louder but still worked the same past that.
Anyone got any ideas on what the problem may be.
Thanks for the help!

Did that include the power supply electrolytics, or just the wax/paper caps?

You might have a bad oscillator coil.
