Can someone please double check my wiring to the EV-96 cartridge in my 1958 Admiral record player? There are 3 wires. Red, white, and black. I used yellow for white in the illustration below. The black wire has a jumper to another pin. I believe that to be the ground for each channel. Does it matter if the red/black or white /black are reversed? The pins are numbered 1 thru 4 as shown. Thanks

This should help as its a standard color coding method.
the standard color is red for the right channel. Yellow for Left. you can swap those two around if they are not correct.
