I would think that there should be some screws on the bottom side of the table that, if you unscrewed them, the bottom should disassemble and access to the radio will be possible.

Had a table set a few years ago,here are some pics, the top was removable.

Hello We removed the screws and the top will not come off. We can see a pin in the center spindle and was wondering if that had to be removed to disassemble the top. But the pin does not go through all the way (so you could tap it out) and it is solid with no threaded hole so you could put a pin puller on it to pull it out. Very confusing paul

Just a thought Paul,the table could have been refinished and is glued to the base w/ lacquer or ??
Can you see the underside of the top,through holes on bottom. I wouldn't think the top would unscrew by turning counter clockwise,but you never know.

Hello There are no holes on the bottom. The radio in the picture with the holes is a different model. The radio is in original condition. There is no sign of refinishing. paul

Hello. I figured it out. There were two screws underneath the table that held the chassis and part of the frame of the table. Took them out and the frame and chassis came right out. Thanks to all.paul
