Hello Everyone! I am looking for a radio related item to display in our upcoming radio conventions contest. I am looking for something that is radio related but not a radio. Something I can research and find history on. Must be in good to very good condition. I am open to just about anything except books and magazines. I have a special interest in Magnavox and GE.
Let me know what you might have for sale!!

Thanks Linda

Linda,
In addition to my radio collection, I have a large group of items that have nothing to do with radio. The photo shows part of the collection. I do not wish to sell any of the items but would be willing to loan something to you. If you don't see anything in the photo, I could send you a complete list of items.

Every item in the photo contains the word, "radio."

On ebay there's some items relating to Gil Verba who was a DJ on KOA radio. He died young at 53.

Maybe these would be of interest.

I don't know what you're thinking in terms of time frame, unusualness, cost, deep backstory, etc.

I have gradually accumulated a modest collection of the containers in which detector crystals were sold. Various ones turn up on eBay often. I'm pretty sure I have a few duplicates around here, but I doubt I could find any right away.

I especially like the "neutron" tins, presumably named while the discovery (by Ernest Rutherford in 1920) was still in the news...kind of like the later TV brand "Quasar".

How about a 3-dialer cast iron radio bank?

There is a slot in the top for making deposits.
