I found this radio left in my basement when I moved into my house I am wondering if there is any value in it it is a little beat up and it appears the tube or antenna as it states is blown the machine does power on so Im assuming that with a little TLC this item may be something for someone any help on this issue would be great I am having a friend come over tomorrow with his digital camera so i can take some pics I have been told that it is best not to clean or do anything to the item because it may decrease its potential value please let me know if I am correct. Thanks for all and any help you may offer.

Hi

Farnsworth AC-70 is shown in Collectors Guide to Antique Radios, 6th edition as being an 8 tube, console radio, with push buttons and short wave. They list a value of $110 - $130. Actual value will depend on condition and what someone is willing to pay.
