Someone in the past tried to strip the bar and just left it , stripper had hardened to the sides, horizontal trim inserts were de-laminated and had to be reglued. Several veneer chips had to be repaired. Here is a shot of the back of the restored RadioBar. Note the antenna that was strung on the back. I know that the gloss on the interior isn't correct. I used gloss lacquer and didn't attempt at "rubbing out" the inside. Every part of wood was lacquered. The bar did have a slight musty smell before the restoration. It is gone now, and smells like new.
