Post subject:  General Electric 25 cycle Radio

I am working on a Canadian General Electric model 411 radio phonagraph. It was made for 25cycle and no power transformer., can it run on 60 cycles and what changes are neaded. The tube line up are 35w4, 50b5, 12at6, 12ba6, 12be6. :?:

It will be fine,in fact it will run nice and cool,won't work the other way around though...

Hi, and welcome aboard.

The radio will work fine on 60Hz power.
As with all vintage radios, you probably want to replace all the waxed-paper and electrolytic capacitors before applying power.

The turntable however will be massively off speed (fast).

I would not even apply power to the turntable, lest the attempt cause some damage.
