This radio is in the hinterland, but kinda cool. Looks way older than I'm used to dealing with. Could the grille cloth be original? only $75.00 usd.

It looks like an inverted Radiola 66 with a psychedelic grill cloth.

Gary, I'm pretty sure that's a Canadian Westinghouse 99A. Looks like there's a cover missing from the rear of the chassis.

No, the grill cloth is very much not original. I think the US RCA 66, Cdn West. 99, and Cdn West. 99A all used the same tapestry grill cloth originally.

Thanks guys, It looks complete except for the grille cloth, but I think it would be too challenging for me to get going at this stage.

Thanks. I thought I saw it somewhere. The Canadian Westinghouse Radiola 99 is an inverted US RCA Radiola 66. Even the model number is inverted. How quaint!

Looks to have some nice globe tubes in it. IF those are good and the speaker were good, I would consider 35-40$ for it. (parts) But not for a hacked radio of that sort. Don't worry, I suspect the market for it is pretty tiny in it's current state of repair. The price may drop in order to get it out of the way, unlike a small radio that is easily stashed somewhere.

Non working, horribly replaced grill cloth, missing dial screen, likely refinished cabinet, all that for $75? I wouldn't even take that set if it was offered for free but I'd take the knobs and tubes.

I guess I was drawn to the very clean looking chassis, but style wise, I was never a fan of this type of console. Much prefer the look of late 30's and up stuff.
