 Post subject: Continental “Beverly” midget set

Four times a year some local pickers have a barn sale and I stopped in this morning. Found this outside of one of the barns for $10.

As you can see, it needs some attention.

I think I’ll decide after I ohm out the coils and transformers whether or not it’s scrap. Tubes are good. 58-58-57-47-80. Not sure exactly which TRF chassis schematic in Riders matches this set though. I’m trying to figure out what year it’s from. I feel like 1934, but not sure when Continental had access to the Beverly brand name.
