I just wanted to thank Dennis (Mr. Detrola) for gifting me this radio some 5 years ago. I finally got around to restoring it. The toughest part was replacing one of the tube sockets when it crumbled during restoration. It's working on both AM and FM. I just got knobs from Don (dsturz) a couple days ago. The radio is now complete and serving in my man cave.

Lucky me it works well. There is published information on how to dress the placement of certain wires in the chassis. The FM is highly sensitive to this. For example, the coils near the tuner need to be perfectly dressed or you could completely lose FM.
