Right now, depending on how the search is done, there is somewhere between 10,000 and 20,000 responses "on eBay" (not google results) to the google search term ""tube radio"ebay.com"".

Doesn't seem like a draught to me.

Without looking at the listings the number of "responses" is irrelevant, keyword spamming seems to be a way of life on there these days. It can cover anything from actual radios, to tubes, to parts, to books, or calendars.

Sounds very much like a post someone made earlier in the thread.

Keep in mind about 80% of those ebay listings are QSL cards :D

I think shipping costs will be more and more of an equalizer for local selling. That being said, almost everything I see locally in my area is either "less than desirable", or wildly overpriced.

I totally agree, right now it's either low value stock or overpriced stock, not that much in the middle. This won't change until were done with this Covid thing and things get back to normal.

There are less buyers too. Throughout the winter and first quarter of this year I was selling 2 or 3 items a week, sometimes more. Late April that dwindled down to maybe 1 sale every 2 weeks.

When I sold radios at the local antique mall sales always slumped in the spring and summer months, picking back up later in the year. Plus swap meets are happening again, more buyers and sellers are attending those.

Poster would have been more accurate if he had posted that there are less quality radios listed on Ebay. Most of the radios I've seen listed are junk, near junk or wildly overpriced.
