This whole story sounds like an urban myth to me. If the seller sent something to any address that is not yours, that will show in his "proof" that he sent it. Also, the weight of the item is on each label. I have over 1600 points on Ebay, so not a huge seller or buyer over 15 years but I have RARELY had any problems with any transaction. I list accurately, buy carefully, and communicate fully. EASY. We are usuallly not dealing with teenagers, or anyone under age 25, who are the worst buyers and sellers. No issues.
