See the link above . Always a hassle to post a pic.

It's amazing how often that clock was adjusted to completely wear the paint around the knob. That was a well used set!

I wonder who made the electronics? I doubt Bulova did.

But oy, the price--a little too rich for my blood

When I first saw this listing I checked around. I found a few on Radio Attic that have been restored and sold from 2011 to 2015. Prices from 899.00 to 1,199.00 Bulova did make a ton of plastics as seen on sold radios. Nice looking set.

In about the last 25 years or so I have only seen 3 of these come up for sale. But I never look at Radio Attic for sales.
I thought this one was interesting to see the labels intact as much as they are .

What would you guys do about the worn area on the clock face? Personally I would pass on it just for that. There's no way your going to touch up a gold color without it being very obvious. Gold tones are VERY tough to match. You also would not want to replace the clock being it has such nice a nice design. An exact replacement must be next to impossible to find.
It's a big minus on this one in my opinion.

Personally, I would just leave it. It's part of the radio now

I have the console Bulova clock radio, and can find no others on the Internet. It is up for restoration in January - February. I need a wood worker to make parts for my Stromberg-Carlson 56, and will also have them make the missing small pieces for three of the leg bottons of the Bulova.

Rare, but the ugliest of the 3. Bargain I'd say
